About the Course

Paramedical Training Excellence

General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM is a three year diploma course designed for aspirants who desire to pursue a career in the domain of paramedics to attain Clinical training. GNM courses at Amritsar College of Nursing are designed for students to derive excellence in health care delivery through innovative and transformative academic and skill building programs.

This Course shall equip students with the knowledge, skill and attitude to render comprehensive nursing care to their clients with various disorders in hospital, home and community. GNM Nurses are prepared to cope up with the changing needs of the society.

Restoration & Rehabilitation

The students are shaped to exhibit positive attitude and character upholding the dignity of the individual and the Nursing profession. These Students have an important role in preventing the disease, promoting health & collaborate with other health team members in restoration of Health & Rehabilitation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic: 10+2 Passed in Any Stream.
  • Mandatory Subject: English must be a core subject.
  • General Candidates: Minimum 40% aggregate marks.
  • Reserved (SC/ST): Minimum 35% aggregate marks.
  • Course Body: Recognized by INC, PNRC and affiliated with BFUHS.
